When we built Burny Wild’s Adventure Sauce from inside our own studio, the packaging needed to do more than hold the sauce. It needed to carry the brand’s whole philosophy: a love of adventure, a commitment to Mama Earth, and a belief that saving the planet should feel like possibility, not doom and gloom. That meant the packaging itself had to be sustainable, not just say it was.
We partnered with noissue, who featured the collaboration on their own blog. Here is the story behind it.

What Is Burny Wild’s, Really?
Burny Wild’s is an eco-driven adventure brand created by MRC founder Mike Rosado and the studio team. After decades of designing food and beverage brands for others, Mike’s creative appetite led to Adventure Sauce: a versatile, vegan condiment with a kick. But the sauce was always the beginning, not the whole story.
The brand exists to start conversations. It is a spark meant to inspire the same passionate enthusiasm for life, the planet, and its inhabitants that went into building the brand itself. That philosophy goes well beyond the bottle. Burny Wild’s has produced its own comic book, Episode 1: Escape From the Fumara, using storytelling and a fictional journey of adventure and courage to bring the brand’s values to life. The artwork carries the same message: care for Mama Earth and find joy in doing so. The brand also partners with high-impact environmental organizations like 1% for the Planet to put that belief into action.

Why Sustainable Packaging Mattered From Day One.
Burny Wild’s needed a way to connect with audiences at festivals nationwide, without the travel expense of being in person at every event. Custom multi-design sticker sheets solved that. They let the brand introduce its full personality and values to a much wider audience than a single in-person activation ever could, with a QR code built in to give newcomers a purchase incentive and let the team measure how well each campaign performed.
From there, the packaging system expanded. Custom tissue paper and packing tape from noissue rounded out the unboxing experience, each one playfully incorporating the spirit of adventure and wildness that defines the Burny Wild’s identity. Packaging was never an afterthought here. It is brand identity carried all the way to the customer’s hands.

Why noissue Was the Right Fit
Custom design and sustainability do not have to be a trade-off, and that pairing is exactly why noissue made sense. The curated selection of eco-friendly packaging products introduced possibilities the team had not even considered. Combined with responsive customer support, reasonable pricing, and low minimums that work for a growing brand, it made for an easy decision for a small, studio-grown company building something from the ground up.

Burny Wild’s is proof that sustainable packaging is not just possible at scale; it is possible from day one, even for a brand built inside a design studio with limited resources and a lot of belief.
